Nestled in the breathtaking municipality of Acevedo, a region that resonates among the community with rolling hills and small valleys kissed by the Suaza River, this farm thrives at altitudes reaching 2,000 meters above sea level. Here, coffee is not just grown. It’s lovingly crafted to produce a cup, which dances with vibrant red fruit and delicate floral notes – perfect for an unforgettable specialty coffee experience.
In 2022, recognizing their shared potential and passion, the group formalized as “Amigos de Santa Ana,” a name which reflects their spirit of camaraderie. What sets this group apart is their unwavering sense of community – producers with larger wet mills and drying infrastructure extend a helping hand to smaller growers. Together, they rotate pickers, ensure timely harvests, share training and host commercial visitors as a united front. This beautiful “minga” (a collective effort) exemplifies the harmony that embodies the soul of Colombian coffee craftsmanship.
